Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough initial assessments and evaluations to determine the therapeutic needs of clients.
• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans tailored to the unique needs of each client, utilizing evidence-based therapeutic modalities.
• Provide individual, group, and family therapy sessions that incorporate techniques such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT).
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including psychologists, social workers, and medical professionals, to ensure coordinated care and comprehensive treatment.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client interactions and treatment progress in accordance with legal and ethical standards, facilitated by support with billing and documentation.
• Engage in ongoing professional development and supervision to enhance clinical skills and knowledge.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will work with a diverse client population, including individuals and families facing a range of mental health challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and substance use disorders. Our goal is to provide accessible care to those who may have limited access to mental health services, focusing on their overall well-being and recovery.

Qualifications

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field from an accredited institution.
• Active and unrestricted licensure as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of New Jersey.
• A minimum of two years of experience in a counseling role, preferably within a clinical or community health setting.

Preferred Experience

• Specialization in areas such as family therapy, couples therapy, trauma-informed care, or substance misuse treatment is highly preferred and will enhance your candidate profile.
• Experience working remotely and utilizing telehealth platforms for therapy sessions.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary for this position ranges from USD 70,000 to 90,000 annually, commensurate with experience and workload. You will also benefit from a strong referral system that provides a steady flow of clients, enabling you to build your practice effectively. Additionally, our organization offers support for billing and documentation, allowing you to focus more on client care.
