The remote work setting at West Bridgeway Counseling Services offers flexibility, allowing you to connect with clients in their own environments. Daily movement may include participating in team meetings or multidisciplinary consultations to enhance our collective impact on patient care.

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate clients’ mental health needs, making diagnoses as required based on established diagnostic criteria such as the DSM-5.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that cater to the unique needs of oncology patients, considering their diverse cultural backgrounds and personal circumstances.
• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions to facilitate healing, continually monitoring and adapting treatment strategies to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Document and maintain all treatment records meticulously, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and organizational policies using current electronic health record systems.
• Facilitate communication and collaboration with patients, family members, and other healthcare providers to create a comprehensive treatment approach that meets established goals.
• Serve as a resource for students and interns within the organization, providing mentorship and guidance to foster the next generation of social workers.
• Engage in peer-to-peer review sessions and collaborate with clinical supervisors to enhance service delivery and support team development.

The targeted patient population includes individuals and families navigating the challenges of a cancer diagnosis, encompassing a spectrum of emotional, psychological, and social needs. Our clinical social workers play a crucial role in helping clients manage their mental health alongside their medical treatment, using tailored support strategies that empower them to cope effectively and improve their quality of life.

• Master's Degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
• Active and valid License as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the State of Nevada.

• Prior experience working in oncology or with patients facing chronic illness is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with evidence-based therapeutic modalities and clinical best practices in mental health.
• Experience utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems for documentation and patient management.

Compensation for this role ranges from USD 90,000 to USD 105,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
