The role involves managing security tools, collaborating with various teams, and ensuring compliance with cybersecurity standards.
Responsibilities:
• Monitor and respond to security incidents and potential threats.
• Lead efforts to patch vulnerabilities and improve defenses.
• Manage security tools like firewalls, antivirus, SIEM, and email protection.
• Test and assess security controls, then report findings clearly.
• Collaborate with IT teams, vendors, and auditors to ensure compliance.
• Stay current with cybersecurity trends, threats, and best practices.
• Contribute to secure system/network designs.
• Participate in an on-call rotation for incident response.
Qualifications:
Required:
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science (or equivalent experience).
• Solid experience in information security.
• Strong understanding of penetration testing and network defense techniques.
• Familiarity with tools like firewalls, proxies, SIEMs, antivirus, and IdPs.
