Job Description
DMS is seeking a UI/UX Design Intern to join our corporate team. The intern will support the design and development of engaging, user-friendly digital experiences across DMS websites, learning platforms, and other digital products. This position will support the development of intuitive interfaces and visually compelling designs that align with DMS brand standards and user needs.
Responsibilities
  • Provide feedback and recommendations on digital flyers, brochures, social media graphics, and other marketing materials
  • Review DMS websites and provide suggestions to improve layout, navigation, and overall user experience
  • Assist with creating or updating digital graphics and visual content
  • Review designs for consistency with DMS branding and visual standards
  • Provide input on website and digital content layouts
  • Assist with simple wireframes, mockups, or design concepts as needed
  • Collaborate with the communications and marketing team on digital projects
  • Stay familiar with current UI/UX and digital design trends

Required Skills & Experience
  • Basic knowledge of UI/UX and graphic design principles
  • Familiarity with design tools such as Canva, Figma, Adobe Creative Cloud, or similar applications
  • Interest in website and digital design, familiarity with WordPress for web development
  • Strong attention to detail and visual consistency
  • Creative and able to provide constructive design feedback
  • Good communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
  • Ability to work independently and take initiative
  • Portfolio or examples of design work preferred

Education
