Vice President of Administration & Finance
Slavic Gospel Association (SGA)

Position Summary
Slavic Gospel Association (SGA) is seeking a highly relational, operationally minded Vice President of Administration & Finance to provide executive leadership across the organization's financial, administrative, operational, governance, and compliance functions.
This strategic leadership role is broader than a traditional CFO position, combining financial stewardship with operational leadership and organizational development. The Vice President will serve as a key member of the executive leadership team, helping strengthen organizational effectiveness, accountability, systems, and long-term sustainability while supporting SGA's mission around the world.
The ideal candidate is a mature Christian leader who brings strong financial and operational expertise, exceptional judgment, emotional intelligence, and a servant-hearted commitment to ministry stewardship.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Leadership & Stewardship
  • Provide leadership and oversight of all financial operations and accounting functions.
  • Oversee budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, cash flow management, and financial planning.
  • Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting in accordance with nonprofit accounting standards and GAAP.
  • Maintain strong internal controls and financial accountability.
  • Coordinate annual audits and relationships with external auditors.
  • Provide financial analysis and strategic recommendations to executive leadership and the Board.
Operational & Administrative Leadership
  • Lead organizational administration and operational infrastructure.
  • Evaluate and improve systems, workflows, and organizational processes.
  • Strengthen organizational accountability, communication, and operational effectiveness.
  • Oversee vendor relationships, facilities coordination, and administrative services.
  • Develop scalable systems that support long-term organizational growth and sustainability.
Governance & Compliance
  • Support Board and committee reporting processes.
  • Ensure compliance with legal, financial, and organizational requirements.
  • Maintain organizational policies, insurance coverage, compliance records, and operational documentation.
  • Help ensure adherence to ECFA standards and ministry stewardship commitments.
Leadership & Team Development
  • Provide leadership, coaching, and development for accounting and administrative staff.
  • Foster a culture of collaboration, humility, accountability, and servant leadership.
  • Assist in recruiting, onboarding, and developing future operational leaders.
  • Clarify responsibilities and strengthen team effectiveness across departments.
International Ministry Financial Coordination
  • Support oversight of international ministry financial operations and fund distribution processes.
  • Maintain awareness of international financial compliance considerations and ministry funding structures.
  • Assist with stewardship of international banking relationships and ministry operations.
Payroll & Human Resources Oversight
  • Oversee payroll processes and related operational controls.
  • Partner with outsourced HR providers regarding employee relations, benefits administration, compliance, policies, and HR best practices.
  • Support organizational compliance with employment-related requirements.
Qualifications
Required
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Nonprofit Leadership, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 7-10 years of progressive leadership experience in finance, administration, operations, or nonprofit leadership.
  • Experience overseeing accounting operations, budgeting, audits, and organizational systems.
  • Strong understanding of nonprofit accounting principles, financial reporting, and operational stewardship.
  • Demonstrated leadership, organizational, and process-improvement experience.
  • Proficiency with accounting systems, reporting tools, and advanced Excel.
Preferred
  • Nonprofit and/or ministry experience.
  • International ministry finance or global nonprofit operations experience.
  • CPA, MBA, or related professional credential.

Compensation & Benefits
