Job Title: Vice President, US Gaming & Creators

Primary Work Location: New York, NY strongly preferred. Remote candidates may be considered for the right experience.

Team and Job Overview

SPORTFIVE is seeking a senior leader to head our US Gaming & Creators business, responsible for driving revenue growth, leading client strategy, and managing a high-performing team.

This role will oversee the US-based gaming team and work closely with Global Gaming, US Commercial Sales and Brand Advisory, and other international teams to develop and execute integrated partnership strategies across gaming, esports, and creator ecosystems.

The VP will play a critical role in:

  • Growing existing client partnerships
  • Driving new business development across all facets of gaming and creators

Essential Job Responsibilities

  • Leadership & Team Management
    • Lead and develop the US Gaming & Creators team, setting clear goals and driving performance
    • Foster a collaborative, high-accountability culture aligned with global gaming strategy
    • Partner closely with US and Global Gaming leadership to align priorities, products, and go-to-market approach
  • Revenue Generation & Business Development
    • Own and drive revenue growth for the US Gaming & Creators business
    • Identify, pursue, and close new business opportunities across brands, publishers, and platforms
    • Lead the full sales lifecycle: outreach, pitch development, negotiation, and deal execution
    • Build and maintain a strong pipeline of opportunities within the gaming and esports ecosystem
  • Client Leadership & Account Growth
    • Identify, pursue and develop new rights hold and creator representation targets to build and diversify the current portfolio
    • Serve as a senior lead on key client relationships, ensuring high-quality delivery and long-term growth
    • Partner with account teams to expand existing partnerships through new solutions and upsell opportunities
    • Act as a strategic advisor to clients on gaming, esports, and creator-led activations
  • Cross-Functional & Global Collaboration
    • Collaborate with Global Gaming and international teams to develop scalable products, narratives, and sales materials
    • Work closely with US Commercial Sales to integrate gaming into broader brand partnerships
    • Work closely with US Brand Advisory to develop new retainer and fee-based consulting client opportunities
    • Support RFI/RFP responses, ensuring competitive and high-quality submissions

Minimum Qualifications

  • 12-15 years of experience in gaming, esports, sports marketing, or related media/entertainment sectors
  • Proven track record of driving revenue growth and closing high-value partnerships
  • Deep understanding of gaming, esports and creator ecosystems, including sponsorship and media opportunities
  • Experience leading or managing teams, with a focus on performance and development
  • Strong relationships with senior-level brand decision-makes/ and or industry partners
  • Experience presenting to executive-level stakeholders (internal and client-facing)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working across global organizations or international markets
  • Strong understanding of integrated marketing, content, and digital media offerings
  • Familiarity with CRM tools (e.g. Salesforce) and pipeline management

Job Requirements

  • New York, NY-based candidates preferred; remote arrangements may be considered for highly qualified applicants.
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally as needed
  • Must have strong verbal, written and presentation skills

Compensation
Salary: $180,000; Role is also eligible for additional compensation in the form of sales commission + annual group performance bonus.
SPORTFIVE is providing the compensation range it might pay for this position. The rate of pay offered will be dependent on the successful applicant's education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities in addition to internal equity and geographic location.
