This role ensures that nursing services are standardized, data-informed, spiritually grounded, and responsive to the needs of children and families across diverse cultural and clinical settings.
Focused on six strategic domains (leadership; training and capacity building; patient safety and quality assurance; EMR utilization and data integrity; workforce planning and staffing; and patient flow optimization), the Director will drive system-wide nursing excellence. This leader will be an advocate for nurses, a steward of quality care, and a trusted partner to hospital and ministry leadership.
Why CURE?
Every year, thousands of children suffering from treatable disabilities receive life-changing surgery and compassionate care through our hospitals. As the Network Director of Nursing, you'll help shape the quality of care delivered across an entire network of hospitals, equipping nursing leaders, strengthening healthcare systems, and creating lasting impact for children and families around the world.
When you join CURE, you'll find:
  • A mission-driven organization where faith and healthcare come together to transform lives.
  • The opportunity to influence nursing practice across multiple countries.
  • Meaningful work alongside passionate healthcare professionals committed to excellence.
  • A collaborative leadership culture focused on innovation, continuous improvement, and servant leadership.
  • The chance to invest in the development of future nursing leaders while improving care for thousands of children each year.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide strategic nursing leadership by mentoring and supporting nursing leaders across CURE's global hospital network while driving consistency, accountability, and clinical excellence.
  • Champion quality and patient safety by leading nursing best practices, standardizing care, and partnering with hospitals to improve clinical outcomes.
  • Develop and strengthen the nursing workforce through leadership coaching, competency development, mentorship programs, and succession planning.
  • Drive operational excellence by improving nursing workflows, supporting workforce planning, optimizing patient flow, and leveraging clinical data to enhance decision-making.
  • Collaborate across the organization with medical, quality, HR, IT, and hospital leadership teams to advance CURE's mission and strengthen healthcare delivery across the network.

Required Qualifications
  • Master's degree in Nursing, Nursing Administration, or related field (MSN, MHA).
  • Minimum of 10 years of progressive nursing experience, including at least 5 years in a senior leadership or multi-site role.
  • International leadership experience in cross-cultural or resource-limited healthcare settings required.
  • Proven ability to drive operational and clinical change at scale.
  • Experience leading end-user implementation of EMR/EHR systems.
  • Demonstrated expertise in deploying patient safety and quality accreditation frameworks.
  • Registered Nurse (RN) with active, unrestricted license in country of residence, and eligibility for licensure or registration in country of assignment.
  • English fluency required, French proficiency desirable.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Doctorate in Nursing Practice (DNP) or PhD in Nursing Leadership.
  • Background in global health, pediatric surgical care, or resource-limited settings strongly preferred.
  • Specialty or leadership certifications preferred (e.g., NEA-BC, CPHQ, CPNP).
  • Operational and systems thinker with strong implementation ability.
  • Skilled at cross-cultural communication and navigating diverse healthcare contexts.
  • High emotional intelligence and demonstrated ability to lead change.
  • Strong understanding of clinical quality improvement, nursing informatics, and safety frameworks.
