Job Description
We are seeking a Project Manager for the Healthcare team to join a collaborative, flexible, and team-oriented practice environment in Philadelphia. Responsibilities
- Manage all phases of multiple small to mid-sized healthcare projects, from planning and design coordination through documentation, construction administration, and closeout.
- Lead project delivery to ensure scope, schedule, budget, quality, and client expectations are met.
- Coordinate project workplans, staffing needs, milestones, deliverables, and internal deadlines with firm leadership and project teams.
- Monitor project progress, identify risks early, and implement solutions that support efficient and technically feasible execution.
- Maintain design intent, quality standards, and project goals throughout each phase of work.
- Serve as a primary point of contact for clients and ensure efficiency on schedule, budget, scope, and delivery matters.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships through proactive communication, follow-through, and solution-oriented project leadership.
- Develop, monitor, and manage project budgets, schedules, staffing plans, and financial performance indicators.
- Support fee development, scope definition, and project planning in coordination with leadership.
- Track project performance, revenue forecasts, workplans, billings, invoicing, and accounts receivable.
- Prepare and coordinate Additional Service Requests when project scope changes occur.
- Deliver projects at or above expected profit margins while maintaining quality, client satisfaction, and project team effectiveness.
Essential Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture
- Minimum 5 years of professional experience managing architecture-related projects, with at least 3 years focused on healthcare projects.
- Minimum 2 years of experience managing healthcare project scope, schedules, budgets, teams, consultants, and client relationships.
- Strong understanding of healthcare facility design and delivery, including work in active clinical or hospital environments.
- Knowledge of applicable building codes and healthcare regulatory requirements
- Strong financial management skills, including budgeting, forecasting, invoicing support, staffing plans, and project performance tracking.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office; familiarity with Revit, Bluebeam, AutoCAD, or related design and documentation tools preferred.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Experience with Deltek or comparable project management and financial management software preferred.
Work Environment
The work environment is highly collaborative and promotes inclusion and ownership of projects for all levels of experience in the office. The office culture is deadline-intensive, with a business casual dress code. The office is a modern, open layout designed to promote teamwork and sharing of ideas, with no small offices but areas available for private calls. The Philadelphia office serves as the headquarters and houses 70-80 people, with plans to expand further. Remote work is currently fully supported, with options for hybrid or full-time office work in the future.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Philadelphia, PA.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $40.00 - $60.00/hr.
