To thrive as a Remote Intern Enrolled Agent, you need a solid understanding of tax law, accounting principles, and progress toward or completion of the Enrolled Agent (EA) certification. Familiarity with tax preparation software, IRS e-file systems, and secure document management platforms is typically required. Strong attention to detail, self-motivation, and effective virtual communication skills help you stand out in a remote setting.
