Our Traffic/Technology Team is at the forefront of developing innovative solutions for traffic management, signal systems, and Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS). With a proven track record of excellence, we are dedicated to improving traffic operations, safety, and pedestrian circulation for cities and communities.

As a Senior Engineer, you will play a key role in shaping the future of transportation infrastructure. Your passion for collaborative work and commitment to positively affecting communities will drive you to lead traffic planning, studies, design, and operations tasks and projects. You'll have the unique opportunity to make a difference and contribute to the growth of our fast-growing office.

This position is available in-office at our Plano or Fort Worth, Texas locations, or remotely for candidates based in San Antonio, Austin, or Houston, Texas.
Qualifications

You are passionate about:

  • Strong communication skills.

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
  • 10+ years of experience in traffic engineering, traffic operations, or ITS projects.
  • Professional Engineering (PE) license in Texas.
  • Working knowledge of CAD software such as AutoCAD Civil 3D and/or MicroStation.
  • Working knowledge of software including Synchro, SimTraffic, HCS, VISSIM or other similar software.
  • Experience with traffic studies and design projects, preferred.
  • Local industry knowledge and experience, preferred.
