A Remote Intelligence job involves analyzing, collecting, and interpreting data relevant to national security, business, or other sectors, while working from a location outside a traditional office, often from home or another remote location. These roles often involve tasks like monitoring digital communications, reviewing satellite imagery, or assessing open-source information to provide actionable insights. To thrive as a Remote Intelligence Analyst, you need strong analytical abilities, attention to detail, and a background in intelligence studies, international relations, or a related field. Familiarity with intelligence analysis software, data mining tools, and secure communication systems is typically required, along with relevant certifications like Security+ or Certified Intelligence Analyst. Excellent written communication, critical thinking, and discretion are crucial soft skills for interpreting data and sharing insights securely. These skills enable effective remote assessment of complex information, ensuring timely and accurate intelligence support for decision-makers.

How does working in a remote intelligence role typically impact collaboration and communication with team members?

In a Remote Intelligence position, effective collaboration and communication are essential, given that team members often work across different locations and time zones. Most teams rely heavily on secure digital platforms, such as encrypted messaging apps, video conferencing, and collaborative cloud-based tools, to share insights and coordinate tasks. • Collaborate closely with Product Management, Project Managers, and designers to deliver high-quality products to our customers.
  • Develop advanced, branded prototypes for new features and customer experiences.
  • Engage directly with new and existing clients to discuss and plan solutions for their branding requirements.
  • Ensure all code is maintainable, scalable, and cross-browser compatible.
  • Familiarity with web accessibility (WCAG) standards and best practices in all applications.
  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to a culture of high-quality, maintainable code.
Required Experience/ Skills:
  • 3+ years of professional web development experience.
  • Strong, working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and CSS preprocessors like SASS.
  • Good experience with front-end development using modern vanilla JavaScript and frameworks, particularly React and Svelte.
  • Proven ability to write maintainable, scalable, responsive, and cross-browser code.
  • Experience with design tools such as Figma, Adobe XD, or Photoshop.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience with Agile software development methodologies.
  • Familiarity with version control systems, such as Git.
  • Takes ownership, is self-motivated, and a creative thinker.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Works well in a fast-paced, pivoting environment.
  • A collaborative team player.
  • Experience with client-facing conversations and strategic planning.
  • Experience with Web Components.
  • Experience with email templating and web page theming.
  • Knowledge of front-end testing frameworks.
