About the Role

We are seeking a visionary and technically sharp Senior Product Manager to own and scale our Document Intelligence Platform. In this role, you will define the product vision and roadmap, bridging the gap between complex machine learning and seamless user experiences for thousands of tax professionals.

Your mission is to lead our AI-driven document automation capabilities—specifically focusing on document classification, high-accuracy data extraction, and seamless ingestion into downstream systems. You will automate complex document workflows to eliminate manual data entry, balancing bold AI innovation with strict operational stability in a mission-critical environment.

What We Are Looking For

  • Experience: 6+ years of product management experience in software, with a proven track record of building or scaling cloud-based / SaaS products.
  • AI & Document Expertise: Strong product experience with AI-driven document ingestion/extraction platforms (document classification, data extraction, and data mapping into downstream systems).
  • Domain Knowledge: Experience in tax, accounting, FinTech, or compliance-driven products is highly preferred.
  • Execution & Deadline-Driven: Proven ability to manage complex release cycles under tight, fixed deadlines using structured prioritization frameworks.
  • Technical & Analytical Chops: Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to leverage AI, automation, and modern cloud capabilities while maintaining operational excellence.

What You'll Do Every Day

  • Own the Platform Strategy: Define and execute the product vision and roadmap for the Document Intelligence Platform, balancing innovation with platform stability and reliability.
  • Lead AI & Automation Initiatives: Drive core capabilities in AI-driven document ingestion, extraction, classification, and deep workflow integration into downstream systems.
  • Manage Complex Lifecycles: Lead initiatives across the full product lifecycle: from ideation and validation to MVP, launch, and early scale, utilizing rapid experimentation and customer feedback.
  • Deliver Annual Tax Updates: Partner with compliance and tax content teams to plan and execute annual tax law updates accurately and on time under fixed regulatory deadlines.
  • Optimize Customer Experience: Use data and deep customer insights to drive measurable improvements in preparer workflows, return reviews, and electronic filing.
  • Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Partner deeply with Engineering, Data Science, Support, and Go-To-Market teams to communicate priorities and manage tight release cycles.
