Job description

Summary:

This role serves as ADT's primary source of category and competitive intelligence. The outputs are critical to keeping ADT senior executives current on the developments, advancements and strategies of competitors within the category to continuously drive improvements and understand the competitive advantages of ADT's business.

Duties and Responsibilities:

List the main duties and tasks that that the employee will be responsible for.

  • Summarizing key developments within the industry and across competitors for executive consumption (requires written and verbal summary and presentation)
  • Maintain ADT's market and competitive intelligence knowledge base, helping internal decision makers get access to critical information in an efficient manner
  • Continuously update and improve our sales enablement tools. E.g., Phone and Field Sales Competitive Information Tools, and website competitive matrices 
  • Perform robust pricing comparisons and analyses to inform national pricing strategies and decision making (e.g., bi-monthly scenario planning)
  • Lead brand claim research & development 
  • Identify competitor false/misleading marketing claims; work with ADT's Legal team to address inaccuracies via Cease & Desists 
  • Manage relationships and project management with third-party research vendors 
  • Additional duties as assigned
