As a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor, your role will include:

• Conducting comprehensive assessments and evaluations to tailor individualized therapy strategies for clients.
• Providing evidence-based therapeutic interventions to individuals, couples, families, and groups.
• Utilizing a range of therapeutic techniques, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), psychodynamic therapy, and solution-focused short-term therapy.
• Maintaining accurate clinical records and complying with legal and ethical standards in all documentation practices.
• Working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to ensure the delivery of comprehensive client care.
• Participating in ongoing workshops and professional development to stay informed on the latest trends and research in mental health care.

Your primary focus will be on providing care to individuals and families experiencing various mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues. Our clinic specializes in serving populations with limited access to mental health services, thus offering you the opportunity to make a tangible difference in the lives of those in need.

To be successful in this role, you should have:

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field.
• An active and unrestricted license as a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LCPC) in California.
• A minimum of two years of counseling experience, preferably in a clinical setting.
• A strong understanding of legal and ethical standards pertinent to mental health practice.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with experience building rapport with diverse clients.
• A demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with a healthcare team.
• Familiarity with Electronic Medical Record (EMR) software and other relevant technologies.

We strongly prefer candidates who possess specialization or training in areas such as family therapy, couples therapy, trauma-informed care, or substance use disorders. Experience in community health settings and knowledge of culturally responsive care practices will be highly regarded.

The compensation for this role ranges from USD 70,000 to 90,000 annually, commensurate with experience and caseload availability. In addition to a competitive salary, we offer a comprehensive benefits package that includes:
