Clerri is seeking talented senior full-stack Software Engineers to join the practice and patient experiences team and drive its award winning software products forward. As a senior engineer, you will lead the charge in developing elegant solutions to complicated problems. In addition, you'll design and implement responsive, accessible web applications while staying comfortable diving into our NestJS / Node microservices to build and integrate the APIs that power them. As part of our development team, you will help optimize our coding conventions and processes for better performance, security, and maintainability.

This role is open to fully remote candidates, with priority given to applicants based in or near Utah, or within the Mountain time zone.

The Day-to-Day
  • Build full-stack features end-to-end, turning mockups into reactive interfaces in React and Vue, then powering them with the REST and gRPC endpoints you build in our NestJS/Node microservices
  • Partner with Product and QA to turn requirements into robust technical solutions, breaking down and estimating work while holding the line on security, testing, accessibility, and maintainability
  • Raise the bar with agentic AI tools like Cursor and Claude Code, applying sound agent harness design, skills, and subagents to ship higher-quality software faster
Key Skills

  • Deep proficiency in TypeScript, semantic HTML5 including WAI-ARIA, and modern CSS with utility-first frameworks like Tailwind
  • Fluency with software design patterns and object-oriented design principles, applied to code running at scale in production
  • Working command of security best practices, including client-side security, plus WCAG accessibility requirements and JavaScript testing frameworks such as Jest, Vitest, or Mocha
  • You are legally authorized to work permanently in the US without employer sponsorship

Typical Experience & Education

  • 6+ years of experience in software engineering at a fast-growing SaaS company; healthcare experience is a plus
  • Experience building software with a distributed, remote team
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline or equivalent years of experience
