Key Responsibilities

As a Licensed Mental Health Therapist, your responsibilities will include:

• Conducting comprehensive mental health assessments that consider both psychological well-being and co-existing medical conditions such as autoimmune disorders and chronic pain.
• Developing and implementing integrated treatment plans tailored to the unique needs of each patient, harmonizing psychiatric and medical approaches.
• Facilitating individual and group therapy sessions focused on evidence-based practices that foster patient growth and resilience.
• Collaborating closely with medical providers to coordinate treatments and manage patient cases effectively.
• Providing immediate crisis intervention support during mental health emergencies, ensuring the safety and well-being of our clients.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily serve clients dealing with mental health conditions compounded by various medical issues. Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess:

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Psychoanalyst, Psychologist, or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in New York.
• Demonstrated experience in addressing the mental health needs of individuals with co-occurring medical conditions.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with a strong focus on building trusting relationships with patients.
• Ability to uphold professional boundaries and adhere to ethical guidelines while ensuring the confidentiality of client information.

Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits

The salary for this position ranges from USD 115,000 to 130,000 yearly, commensurate with experience and qualifications. In addition to competitive compensation, we offer:
