Job description

Full-Time, Remote
Monday - Friday 8-4:30 p.m.
Summary:
The Talent Selection Specialist, Nursing Recruitment, is responsible for supporting nursing leaders by identifying, attracting, and securing top nursing talent. This role serves as a trusted talent advisor and strategic partner, leading full-cycle recruitment activities, maintaining and analyzing recruitment and hiring data, representing the organization at career fairs and networking events, and actively supporting initiatives that strengthen nursing talent pipelines
Responsibilities:
1. Plans and executes the sourcing, recruiting, selection, and hiring process to ensure a qualified slate of talented candidates is available while maintaining excellent relations with hiring managers, co-workers, candidates, and the community.
2. Sets service level agreements with hiring managers to define roles/responsibilities and control the hiring process.
3. Prepares candidates for interviews with hiring managers by providing information on the hospital, business strategy, department background, job description, and expectations.
4. Maintains accurate and well-ordered documentation on all applicants, searches, hiring manager interactions, and other recruiting activities to ensure accurate reporting of employment activities and successful outcomes of audits.
5. Participates in departmental activities including performance and process improvement.
6. Other duties as required.
Other information:
Technical Expertise
1. Experience in full lifecycle recruiting is preferred.
2. Experience in applicable State and Federal employment laws is preferred.
3. Experience in working with all levels within an organization is required.
4. Experience in a fast-paced health care environment is required.
6. Proficiency in MS Office [Outlook, Excel, Word] or similar software is required. ATS is preferred.
Education and Experience
1. Education: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Nursing or a related field is required.
2. Certification: HR certification [PHR, SHRM-CP, CEBS, CCP, etc.] must be obtained within two years of hire.
3. Years of relevant experience: 5 years of recruitment experience and/or RN Licensure required
4. Years of experience supervising: None.
