• Conduct thorough assessments and screenings to evaluate clients' substance abuse history and co-occurring mental health issues, gathering crucial data necessary for effective treatment planning.
• Develop personalized, evidence-based treatment plans that address not only addiction but also underlying psychological factors, ensuring a holistic approach to recovery.
• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions, utilizing cognitive-behavioral therapies (CBT), motivational interviewing, and other recognized methods to guide clients toward recovery.
• Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary treatment team to coordinate care and ensure all aspects of a client's wellbeing are addressed and managed.
• Engage and educate clients' families about the recovery process, empowering them to support their loved ones effectively while improving their own understanding of addiction.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client progress, treatment sessions, and communications, adhering to legal and regulatory standards while championing client confidentiality.

In this role, you will primarily work with adults facing substance abuse issues, including addiction to alcohol, prescription medications, and illicit drugs. Many clients may also present with co-occurring mental health conditions such as anxiety, depression, or PTSD. Your ability to provide compassionate, client-centered care will play a vital role in their recovery process and long-term success.

• A valid license as a Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Professional Counselor (LPC), Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Psychologist (PsyD).
• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field.
• Proven knowledge of evidence-based practices for both substance abuse treatment and co-occurring disorders.

• Prior experience working in a substance abuse treatment setting, with a strong understanding of addiction treatment modalities.
• Demonstrated proficiency in therapeutic techniques relevant to addiction recovery, such as dialectical behavior therapy (DBT) or narrative therapy.
• Experience collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to create and implement comprehensive care strategies.

The salary for this position ranges from USD 80,000 to 100,000 per year, depending on experience and credentials.
