You Have:
  • 3+ years of experience integrating avionics systems for space vehicles such as Electrical Power Systems (EPS), Crew Interface Systems, Audio, Voice, Flight Computers, Lighting, or Command and Data Handling (C&DH) systems
  • 3+ years of experience testing integrated avionics and software systems for space platforms or large-scale platforms
  • 2+ years of experience performing systems engineering or integration in space systems, including integrating hardware, electronic circuits, and components into larger systems, and ensuring compatibility
  • Ability to drive a technical problem to conclusion while considering technical and programmatic constraints and coordinating with senior management
  • Ability to perform multiple systems engineering and project management functions in support of integrating test facilities
  • Ability to obtain a Secret clearance
  • Bachelor's degree in a STEM field

Nice If You Have:
  • Experience with Human Space Flight Programs
  • Experience identifying, analyzing, proposing, and managing program risks and issues related to ground, software, or hardware systems, including root cause analysis, testing, and deployment
  • Experience developing and executing detailed test plans, including functional testing and performance verification of prototypes and final assemblies
  • Experience with practical MBSE for the development of technical specifications, interface control documents, and system architecture, including using digital engineering tools such as Cameo or MagicDraw, SparxEA, DOORS, or IBM Rhapsody
  • Experience with technical documentation
  • Ability to work collaboratively and resolve issues with multiple customers, stakeholders, and engineers
  • Possession of strong verbal and written communication skills to communicate complex technical concepts clearly and concisely
  • Master's degree in a STEM field
  • INCOSE SE Certification

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $86,800.00 to $198,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
