Employment Practices Liability (EPL) Claims Adjuster

Remote

$40-$50/hr

We are seeking an experienced EPL Claims Adjuster for a contract opportunity with a respected insurance organization. This role offers $40-$50 per hour and the chance to manage complex, high-exposure Employment Practices Liability claims in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage a full caseload of Employment Practices Liability (EPL) claims from initial intake through final resolution
  • Assign and oversee defense counsel, direct litigation strategy, and manage claim resolution processes
  • Conduct thorough investigations and evaluations to assess coverage, liability, and damages
  • Set and adjust reserves, attend mediations, and lead settlement negotiations
  • Apply working knowledge of claims-made policies and EPL coverage issues

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience handling EPL, professional liability, or E&O claims, or a JD with relevant litigation or coverage experience
  • Strong understanding of litigation practices and claims-made policies
