Job Title: Senior Developer – Verisk FAST Insurance Platform

Working model: Hybrid-Remote

Experience: 6-10 years 

Role Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Senior Developer with strong hands-on expertise in configuring and implementing the Verisk FAST Insurance Platform. The ideal candidate will design, develop, and configure FAST-based solutions, collaborate with business and technical teams, and ensure high-quality delivery of insurance product implementations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Configure and develop solutions on the Verisk FAST platform (rules, workflows, UI, integrations).
  • Design and implement insurance product models, business rules, and rating logic.
  • Customize FAST components to meet business and regulatory requirements.
  • Develop and maintain FAST XML configurations, services, and extensions.
  • Collaborate with business analysts, architects, and QA teams.
  • Perform impact analysis, troubleshooting, and defect resolution.
  • Ensure best practices in performance, scalability, and maintainability.
  • Support deployments, upgrades, and production issues.
  • Mentor junior developers and provide technical guidance.
  • Participate in design reviews and technical discussions.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Strong experience with Verisk FAST Insurance Platform configuration and development.
  • Solid understanding of FAST architecture and configuration framework.
  • Experience with FAST Designer / FAST Studio (or equivalent tools).
  • Proficiency in:
    • FAST XML configuration
    • Business rules & workflows
    • Product modeling
    • Rating & underwriting logic
  • Good knowledge of insurance domain concepts (Policy, Billing, Claims, etc.).
  • Experience with integrations (REST/SOAP services, APIs).
  • Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.
  • Familiarity with version control systems (Git, etc.).
  • Understanding of SDLC and Agile methodologies.

Technical Competencies

  • XML / XSD / XSLT
  • Java or .NET (commonly used with FAST environments)
  • Web services / APIs
  • SQL / Data handling
  • CI/CD and deployment practices (preferred)

Preferred / Nice-to-Have

  • Experience in Property & Casualty or Life Insurance implementations.
  • Exposure to FAST upgrades or migrations.
  • Experience with cloud deployments.
  • Knowledge of performance tuning within FAST applications.
  • Prior client-facing or consulting experience.
