Location: Mount Prospect, IL (Hybrid preferred, remote available)

What You\'ll Be Doing:
As our Claims Manager, you will lead and shape the success of our claims department, focusing on efficiency, cost control, and exceptional service. Experience handling Private Passenger Auto claims in Indiana and Pennsylvania a plus, but not required.ย 

  • Lead & Empower Your Team:?Manage and motivate claims staff, ensuring workflow, workload, and service levels are met efficiently.ย 
  • Optimize Processes:?Develop strategies to reduce loss costs and ensure efficient claim processingย 
  • Drive Performance:?Set and measure performance indicators to ensure accountability and team success.ย 
  • Regulatory Excellence: Monitor and ensure regulatory compliance and minimize complaints.ย 
  • Hands-On Claims Management: Oversee, evaluate, and authorize claims, keeping high priority?cases?closely monitored.ย 
  • Guidance & Training: Coach adjusters to meet or exceed service objectives and regulatory standards.ย 
  • Negotiation & Resolution: Negotiate claims, achieve favorable outcomes, and minimize expenses.ย 
  • Build Relationships: Foster collaboration within the Claims Department, working closely with staff, supervisors, and managers.ย 
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to improve processes and ensure operational excellence.ย 

Requirements

What We\'re Looking For:ย 

  • Bachelorโ€™s degree or higherย 
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant claims management experienceย 
  • IN and/or PA experience desired, IL, TN, or TX experience a plusย 
  • Nonstandard auto insurance experience beneficialย 
  • Strong customer service skills and fast-track claim processing expertiseย 
  • Skilled at negotiating with attorneys and pro se litigantsย 
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skillsย 
  • Proficient with technology and coverage/liability analysisย 
  • High level of responsibility, problem-solving, and organizational skillsย 
  • Bilingual Spanish preferredย
