W.W. Grainger, Inc. is seeking a Senior Advanced Analytics Analyst in Lake Forest, IL with the following requirements: Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Operations Research, Industrial Engineering, Business Analytics, or related field plus 3 years of related experience. Prior experience must include: Experience with analytics tools (e.g. R, Python, SQL) and data visualization software (e.g. Tableau, PowerBI); Experience articulating ambiguous business questions and using quantitative modeling techniques to arrive at a solution; Experience processing, filtering, validating, and presenting large quantities of data (Millions to Billions of rows); Design, implement & generate sensitivity reports using linear programming and optimization models with Python & MS Excel; Present technical demos and interpret complex analytical outputs into actionable, decision-ready insights for leadership teams; Proficient in architecting complex business processes with Python-based pipelines for large-scale data processing and validation. Up to 10% domestic travel to visit clients and team meetings. Up to 100% remote work allowed from anywhere in the U.S.

Compensation: The anticipated base pay range for this position is $104,832 - $134,500 which reflects the potential base pay at the time of this posting. Base pay will depend on factors such as work location, relevant experience, and skills. Grainger reserves the right to amend, modify, or terminate compensation and benefit programs in its sole discretion at any time, consistent with applicable law.
