Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct culturally sensitive, strength-based assessments for new patients and their families, ensuring a thorough understanding of their unique needs and circumstances.
  • Deliver individualized and family therapy sessions that are tailored to address the specific psychological and emotional concerns identified during assessments.
  • Efficiently manage documentation, including treatment plans, billing processes, and insurance authorization forms, adhering to time constraints and compliance standards.
  • Develop comprehensive crisis and safety plans as needed, alongside relapse prevention and wellness plans to facilitate patient stability and functioning.
  • Create and implement discharge plans that reflect the needs and goals of patients transitioning out of intensive services.

  • Engage in ongoing professional development and training to enhance your skills and effectiveness as a mental health counselor.

  • Complete all necessary licensure requirements and mandatory training to maintain professional standards.
Patient Population / Client Focus

The patients you will serve come from diverse backgrounds, with varying mental health needs, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and relational challenges. Qualifications
  • A Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Counseling, or a related field that qualifies for licensure.
  • Current licensure as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) in the State of Massachusetts.
