• Conduct thorough, culturally sensitive assessments for new patients and their families, ensuring that both strengths and needs are identified and addressed.
• Deliver individualized therapy to clients based on their unique concerns and treatment goals, which may include individual or family sessions.
• Efficiently complete documentation, treatment plans, billing, and insurance authorization forms in line with established deadlines and compliance standards.
• Design safety and crisis plans alongside clients, equipping them with relapse prevention strategies and wellness plans to maintain ongoing stability in their lives.
• Formulate appropriate discharge plans that outlines the next steps for clients completing their treatment.
• Stay abreast of current federal and state regulations, adhering strictly to all relevant laws while following NEHS policies and operational procedures.
• Engage in professional development through training and continuing education to maintain your licensure and enhance your therapeutic skills.
• Participate in regular case consultations and agency meetings to share insights and collaborate with team members on patient care strategies.
• Fulfill all licensure requirements and mandatory training sessions to ensure ongoing competence in the field.

As a Licensed Mental Health Therapist at Emory Health & Rehabilitation Center, you will work with a diverse population of clients faced with a range of mental health issues.
