As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, your main duties will include:

• Engaging with clients to collaboratively set and achieve their treatment goals, focusing on both immediate needs and long-term wellness.
• Delivering prevention-oriented therapy to empower individuals to maintain mental health and proactively address issues before they escalate.
• Implementing and regularly reviewing individualized treatment plans to monitor progress and adapt to changing client needs.
• Collaborating with other healthcare providers and community placement agencies to ensure holistic care and support for your clients.
• Completing necessary documentation promptly and accurately to comply with regulatory standards and organizational policies.
• Maintaining an active caseload while ensuring meticulous session notes that detail client progress and treatment received.

You will work with a diverse clientele, including adults, adolescents, and families, addressing a wide range of mental health issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship challenges. To be considered for this role, candidates must possess:

• A valid mental health license (LMHC, LMFT, LICSW) in the state of Washington.
• A Bachelor’s Degree in psychology, social work, counseling, or a related field.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively convey complex ideas to clients and colleagues.
• The ability to build strong, trusting relationships with clients, enabling effective therapeutic alliances.
• Demonstrated leadership qualities that inspire and motivate others within the therapeutic milieu.

While not required, the following experiences are preferred:

• Previous roles in mental health counseling or related fields, enhancing your understanding of clinical practices.
• Familiarity with community mental health resources which can aid in client referrals and support.
