Maintenance Technician - Heating Systems (FIFO)

Fly-In / Fly-Out | 3x3 Rotation | Paid Travel | Remote Camp

Immediate Opportunity - FIFO Heating Technician

Matrix Camps & Logistics is hiring experienced Heating / Mechanical Technicians to support operations at a remote camp in Northern Canada (Goose Lake Main Camp).

This is a project-based contract (April-June 2026) with immediate upcoming deployment, ideal for technicians experienced in industrial heating systems, oil burners, or camp maintenance.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Inspect, service, and repair industrial heating systems (Frost Fighter, Toyostove, Energy Logic)
  • Perform preventative maintenance, diagnostics, and full unit rebuilds
  • Maintain glycol and diesel heating systems
  • Monitor system performance and ensure safe operation in extreme cold
  • Maintain maintenance logs and support overall site operations

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in industrial or commercial heating systems
  • Experience with oil burners, diesel heaters, or boiler systems
  • Strong troubleshooting skills (mechanical, electrical, or fuel systems)
  • Comfortable working in remote, camp-based environments
  • Valid Class 5 driver's license
