As the Healthcare Consulting Manager on the Mid Revenue Cycle team with a focus on Service Capture, you will:

  • Guide clients in the design, implementation, and optimization of service capture strategies that drive compliance, revenue recovery, and sustainable operational improvements.

  • Lead consulting engagements that enhance revenue integrity and operational performance across hospitals, health systems, and physician enterprises, including EHR transition initiatives (e.g., Epic).

  • Develop and manage comprehensive project workplans, ensuring engagements remain on schedule, key milestones are achieved, and projects are completed successfully.

  • Oversee the development, review, and quality assurance of all client deliverables, including executive presentations, analytical work products, financial opportunity assessments, and implementation materials to ensure accuracy, consistency, and executive-level quality.

  • Evaluate clinical workflows, charge entry practices, and billing compliance processes, leveraging data analysis to identify opportunities for improvement and develop actionable recommendations.

  • Serve as a trusted advisor to client stakeholders by providing strategic guidance, project leadership, and relationship management throughout the engagement lifecycle.

  • Present findings and recommendations to clinical, operational, and executive audiences, translating complex concepts into clear, actionable insights.

  • Manage multiple client engagements and priorities while ensuring high-quality deliverables, successful project outcomes, and exceptional client service.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree required.

  • 5+ years of healthcare revenue cycle experience, including service capture, CDM, coding, billing, and reimbursement processes.

  • Deep understanding of service capture workflows across inpatient, outpatient, and professional services settings.

  • Proven experience delivering healthcare revenue cycle projects within a consulting environment, including hands-on experience with Epic and reimbursement methodologies (ICD-10, CPT, HCPCS, DRG).

  • Demonstrated leadership experience with strong analytical, organizational, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Teams)

  • The ability to travel based on client, enterprise, or project needs is an essential function of this role. While travel requirements may vary based on business need, the current average travel in the Healthcare practice is less than 50%, annually.

The estimated base salary range for this job is $145,000 - $185,000. The range represents a good faith estimate of the range that Huron reasonably expects to pay for this job at the time of the job posting. The actual salary paid to an individual will vary based on multiple factors, including but not limited to specific skills or certifications, years of experience, market changes, and required travel. This job is also eligible to participate in Huron's annual incentive compensation program, which reflects Huron's pay for performance philosophy. Inclusive of annual incentive compensation opportunity, the total estimated compensation range for this job is $166,750 - $231,250. The job is also eligible to participate in Huron's benefit plans which include medical, dental and vision coverage and other wellness programs. The salary range information provided is in accordance with applicable state and local laws regarding salary transparency that are currently in effect and may be implemented in the future.
