Key Responsibilities

• Create and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each client's unique mental health needs.
• Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations, guiding clients through the initial stages of their therapeutic journey.
• Utilize a diverse range of evidence-based therapeutic techniques, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), psychodynamic therapy, and solution-focused brief therapy.
• Provide therapeutic interventions for individuals, couples, families, and groups, fostering an environment conducive to open dialogue and healing.
• Maintain accurate and confidential clinical records in compliance with industry regulations and ethical standards.
• Engage in ongoing professional development to stay informed of the latest research and best practices within the mental health field.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our clinic serves individuals facing a variety of mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, stress management, substance abuse, and relational conflicts. As a Licensed Professional Counselor, you will be responsible for offering tailored support to clients from diverse backgrounds, ensuring that their unique experiences and needs are understood and addressed.

Qualifications

• A Master’s Degree in Professional Counseling or a related field.
• Current licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in Texas.
• Ability to meet the internal credentialing requirements for relevant clinical settings.
• A minimum of one year of clinical experience working with psychiatric patients and/or substance abuse populations.
• Experience in conducting assessments, diagnosis, and individual/group therapy sessions.
• Proficient in basic computer skills, including case management software and electronic health records.

Preferred Experience

• Experience with telehealth services and remote counseling practices.
• Knowledge of community resources and support systems relevant to client populations.
• Prior experience in collaborative settings with interdisciplinary healthcare teams.

Compensation and Benefits
