This position allows for a flexible remote work setting, providing the LCSW the ability to engage with students, families, and school personnel via telehealth. • Provide individual and group psychotherapy sessions via telehealth to students, addressing mental health conditions such as anxiety, depression, and post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD).
• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments to evaluate students’ emotional, behavioral, and social functioning, using standardized tools and observational data.
• Develop personalized, evidence-based treatment plans in collaboration with students and their families, ensuring cultural competence and sensitivity to the unique needs of each client.
• Regularly monitor and evaluate student progress, adjusting treatment strategies as required based on feedback from the students and adjustments in their psychosocial environments.
• Work closely with educational staff, parents, and healthcare professionals to create a unified approach to student welfare, including crisis intervention when necessary.
• Educate students and their families about mental health, treatment options, and available community resources to empower them in their journey towards recovery.
• Maintain adherence to ethical standards and confidentiality as mandated by state regulations and organizational policies.

In this role, you will primarily work with students from diverse backgrounds, with an emphasis on youth facing socioeconomic challenges, trauma, or barriers to academic achievement. Your expertise will be crucial in helping them navigate their mental health conditions, ensuring they have the tools necessary for significant personal and academic growth.

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
• Current state licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in Nevada.
• At least two years of experience delivering psychotherapy and mental health services, specifically in a school or youth-focused environment.
• Proficient communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with students and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams effectively.
• Strong clinical skills in conducting assessments and creating evidence-based treatment approaches tailored to client needs.
• Familiarity with telehealth platforms and electronic health record systems to document sessions and track patient care efficiently.
• In-depth knowledge of various mental health conditions, interventions, and developmental stages of children and adolescents.

• Experience working within educational systems and understanding school policies related to mental health.
• Demonstrated ability to implement school-based mental health programs or interventions.
• Comfort with providing consultations and training for teaching staff on mental health awareness and crisis intervention techniques.
