Job description

Eagle Harbor Solutions, LLC a Koniag Government Services company, is seeking an experienced Hyperconverged Infrastructure Engineer with a TS/SCI security clearance to support EHS and our government customer in Washington, DC. This position is for a Future New Business Opportunity.

Eagle Harbor Solutions is seeking experienced, motivated, career and customer oriented Hyperconverged Infrastructure Engineer to join our team. This candidate will be part of a team that supports an enterprise data center with 3000+ Virtual Machines.

Essential Functions, Responsibilities & Duties may include, but are not limited to:

  • Design, implement and maintain VMWare-based infrastructure and related storage troubleshoot and resolve storage level problems.
  • Provide day to day data management and operational support for distributed data systems, including the entire data life cycle of planning; device and component preparation; solution testing; data placement; backup retention, recall, recovery; and deletion.
  • Focus upon compliance obligations, security, capacity planning, performance, and reporting.

Work Experience, Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  • Expert knowledge of VMware
  • Experience with Hyper-converged systems such as Dell, EMC, VXRail
  • Expert knowledge of VSAN
  • Bachelorโ€™s Degree in related-field or equivalent experience plus 5-10 years of hands-on experience.

Clearance Requirement:

  • TS/SCI security clearance ย
