Job description

Monday-Friday 8:00AM-4:30PM| Hybrid Position- 60/40 onsite/remote

Weekly Earned Wage Access is an option for this position. 

Job Purpose or Objective(s): Plan, coordinate all activities related to the design, testing, and implementation of a low-code platform to support important enterprise information software applications.  You will be also responsible for maintaining and supporting systems within the low-code ecosystem. You will report to the IT Director of Web Development.

Primary Tasks:

  1. You will identify, support, and grow a low-code software development ecosystem.
  2. Manage software development projects to ensure they meet our requirements and goals, fulfill end-user requirements, and resolve systems issues.
  3. Be applications subject matter expert to multiple departments.
  4. Manage a team dedicated to developing custom low-code software and provide direction for the application development team to support business operations.
  5. You will provide technology recommendations based on our requirements.
  6. Maintain procedures related to software development, software support, and deployment practices.
  7. Provide technical and non-technical mentorship to team members.
  8. Evaluate tasks for respective team of programmers and analysts.
  9. Conduct performance reviews and participate in hiring activities for new team members.
  10. Perform other tasks as may be assigned.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer information systems, management information systems or related field with 5+ years of professional experience or 8+ years of professional experience in lieu of degree in software development and related disciplines
  • 1+ year(s) supervising a team.
  • Extensive knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
  • Extensive knowledge of low-code platforms such as PowerApps, Outsystems, Mendix.
  • Knowledge of database design, architecture, and file management techniques
  • Extensive knowledge of application design and architecture
  • Knowledge in networking, protocols, and standards
  • Must be highly motivated, self-initiating, and trustworthy.
  • Knowledge of Agile and Scrum development methodologies
  • Experience with Cloud a plus
