We are seeking an Informaticaย ETL Developer to join our team. This role will involve supporting the migration of enterprise ETL workflows from Informatica PowerCenter to Informatica Intelligent Data Management Cloud (IDMC) in a hands-on, execution-focused capacity. The ideal candidate will have experience in Informatica ETL development, Oracle database environments, SQL optimization, and data validation, along with a strong focus on data integrity and operational stability.

Job Description:

We are seeking a mid-level Informatica ETL Developer/Administrator to support the migration of ETL workflows from Informatica PowerCenter to Informatica Intelligent Data Management Cloud (IDMC). This is a hands-on role focused on ETL asset migration, workflow refactoring, testing, troubleshooting, and stabilization.

This position operates under the direction of technical leads and does not include architectural ownership or people management responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support migration of ETL workflows from PowerCenter to IDMC.
  • Analyze and refactor existing mappings and workflows for cloud-based execution.
  • Perform ETL testing, validation, and troubleshooting throughout migration phases.
  • Assist with cutover planning and post-migration stabilization activities.
  • Support IDMC configuration and hybrid legacy integrations.
  • Assist with job scheduling, monitoring, and operational support.
  • Troubleshoot ETL failures and follow established escalation processes.
  • Support Oracle database environments used by ETL and reporting systems.
  • Analyze and troubleshoot SQL queries and stored procedures.
  • Validate data transformations and ensure accuracy and integrity during migration.
  • Contribute to technical documentation for migration and configuration updates.
  • Document system changes to ensure operational continuity.
  • Participate in knowledge transfer sessions as required.

Required Qualifications:
  • 4โ€“7 years of hands-on Informatica ETL development experience.
  • Experience with Informatica IDMC, Informatica Cloud, or PowerCenter (including migration exposure).
  • Experience supporting or administering Informatica environments.
  • Strong SQL skills with Oracle databases.
  • Experience with stored procedures and database-driven logic.
  • Experience in ETL testing, validation, and issue resolution.
  • Experience working in Linux-based operating systems and command-line environments.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Prior PowerCenter to IDMC migration experience.
  • Experience with cloud or hybrid execution environments.
  • Familiarity with Linux system administration.
  • Experience supporting regulated or audit-sensitive data environments.
