Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients to formulate effective, individualized therapy plans tailored to each person's unique circumstances.
• Facilitate therapy sessions for individuals, couples, and families, utilizing various evidence-based therapeutic approaches, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).
• Help clients articulate their therapy objectives, guiding them through self-discovery and personal growth to achieve their goals.
• Maintain accurate and confidential documentation of client progress and therapeutic interventions, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations and ethical standards.
• Engage in ongoing professional development and training to stay current on the latest advancements in mental health counseling and therapeutic techniques.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will work with a diverse range of clients, including but not limited to individuals dealing with anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues. Your role will be instrumental in helping clients navigate their mental health challenges, fostering a trusting therapeutic relationship that encourages open communication and healing.

Qualifications

• A Master’s degree in Counseling or a closely related field is required.
• Current LCMHC license in the state of Vermont is essential for this role.
• A strong background working with varied client populations, demonstrating an understanding of cultural competencies in mental health.
• Proficient knowledge in evidence-based therapeutic methodologies to effectively support client needs.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills that promote engagement and relationship building.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience as a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor.
• Experience with remote/telehealth service delivery, which is highly valued.

Compensation and Benefits
