This position is fully remote, allowing for flexibility in managing your work-life balance while serving patients through virtual platforms. You will utilize telehealth technologies to connect with clients, conduct sessions, and engage in interdisciplinary team meetings. • Counsel clients through individualized sessions and group therapy to address a variety of mental health issues, ensuring to tailor interventions appropriately based on each client's unique circumstances.
• Maintain accurate and confidential records of client treatments, adhering to HIPAA regulations while preparing detailed treatment plans in collaboration with clients.
• Assess client needs by performing thorough interviews and utilizing diagnostic assessments, thereby effectively guiding treatment approaches.
• Advocate for clients’ needs by coordinating services and resources to assist them in overcoming barriers to their mental health and social well-being.
• Encourage clients to engage in open communication, fostering a safe space to express emotions, challenges, and progress towards their mental health goals.
• Facilitate group therapy sessions that promote sharing and learning among clients, enhancing community support and personal development.
• Stay current with best practices in mental health counseling and implement evidence-based strategies in your treatment methods.

• A Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, or a related field is required; a Master’s degree is strongly preferred.
• Valid state licensure as a Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) is essential.
• Demonstrable understanding of various therapeutic techniques and modalities.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and counseling skills that enable you to build trust and rapport with clients effectively.
