Job description

Hybrid-Remote Role

Compensation: $95,000 – $115,000
Work Arrangement: Fully Remote, Texas-Based
Commitment: Full-Time

Let’s be honest. Not every firm is built with your "life" priorities in mind

This one is.

Our Client has built a firm that understands the simple concept of "One Size Does Not Fit All."

With a team that is made up of a solid mix of fully remote, hybrid and full-time, in-office team members, our client has worked passionately to build something that looks past geography; a culture that understands each person needs something unque to be successful. They've done this while still maintaining accountability, communication, and team development. That is rare.

Even rarer is doing it while maintaining roughly 6% turnover over six years in an industry that routinely loses people at three to four times that rate.

They are hiring a Tax Supervisor who thrives in review, feedback, and team impact.

About the Role
This is a review-first role with real influence.

You will lead the review process across a variety of tax engagements while serving as a key point of contact for both clients and internal team members. Your ability to give clear, useful feedback will directly impact the growth of the team.

You are not just checking work. You are elevating it.

What You Will Do
• Lead review of individual and entity tax returns across multiple client types
• Provide direct, actionable feedback that improves team output
• Maintain consistent communication with clients and internal staff
• Manage multiple engagements with strong organization and prioritization
• Serve as a technical resource for your team
• Set the tone for quality and professionalism in every deliverable

What Makes This Role Different
• Fully remote without sacrificing accountability
• Review-heavy focus for professionals who do their best work at that level
• A team culture that values clarity over chaos
• Low turnover that reflects how the firm actually operates

You Might Be a Fit If
• Review is where you add the most value
• You enjoy helping others improve, not just getting work out the door
• You are organized and steady when workloads increase
• You want a remote role with real expectations and real impact
• You are done with firms where supervisors are just overworked seniors

What You Bring
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field
• 5+ years of public accounting experience
• Strong knowledge of tax, GAAP, GAAS, and applicable standards
• Experience reviewing work and supervising staff
• Strong communication and client-facing ability
• CPA or EA is a plus

What In It For You
• Base salary of $95,000 – $115,000 depending on experience
• 100% company-paid medical coverage
• 401(k) with profit sharing
• Four weeks of PTO plus additional flexibility
• Optional four-day summer workweeks
• Quarterly and individual bonus opportunities
• A remote role that is actually structured to work

Timing Matters. But So Does Fit.
If you have been looking for a hybrid-remote role that still expects excellence and supports it, this is worth exploring.

If you are a strong reviewer who wants to make a real impact without being buried in chaos, let’s talk.
