• Conduct thorough assessments of clients’ mental health needs during initial consultations and ongoing sessions.
• Develop personalized treatment plans that reflect clients' goals and challenges, using evidence-based methodologies.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors, therapists, and multidisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care, ensuring alignment on treatment strategies.
• Schedule and conduct follow-up appointments, home visits, and telehealth sessions as needed to monitor clients’ progress and adapt treatment approaches.
• Participate in Interdisciplinary Team Meetings to discuss client statuses and strategize on comprehensive care solutions.
• Documentation of client progress through detailed monthly and quarterly progress notes, maintaining confidentiality and compliance with legal standards.
• Organize and lead training sessions for team members to enhance competency in therapeutic approaches and documentation practices.
• Act as a liaison for clients by providing them with community resources and support that promote their recovery and growth.
• Engage in supervision and professional development to enhance your clinical skills and keep abreast of developments in mental health care.

Your role will involve working with a varied client base, including both adults and youth, navigating a spectrum of mental health issues. You will be instrumental in providing therapeutic services to individuals dealing with substance misuse, trauma, family dynamics, and relationship complexities. Through personalized care and evidence-based practices, you will directly influence client engagement and retention, driving positive outcomes that align with our mission of holistic health.

• A master’s or doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field.
• An active and unrestricted Professional Counselor license in the state of Kansas.
• At least 2 years of post-graduate experience in a counseling setting, showcasing proficiency in mental health counseling.
• A solid understanding of legal and ethical standards governing practice, ensuring compliance in all client interactions.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, fostering rapport with diverse populations.
• A collaborative spirit with the ability to engage effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
• Proficiency with Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems to manage documentation and client interactions.

• Specialization in family therapy, couples therapy, substance misuse, or trauma treatment is highly preferred.
• Experience utilizing telehealth technologies and platforms for counseling sessions.

• Annual salary in the range of $80,000 to $105,000, determined by experience and caseload.
