** Please note, this role could be filled in Raleigh, NC or Greenville, SCResponsibilities
  • Industrial plant experience strongly preferred; Industrial plant consulting experience preferred
  • Professional Engineering License preferred
  • Coordinate and direct a project team's engineering, design, procurement and construction efforts to meet a customer's project objectives
  • Provide, endorse, and enforce the applicable project principles, practices, and guidelines to ensure efficient and safe use and allocation of the team's and the firm's resources
  • Exercises judgment and experience when applying principles stated above to ensure that sufficient alternatives are considered by the team and that the optimal solution(s) are achieved with schedule and budget constraints.
  • Work with team members and management to identify team and project execution weaknesses and strengthen those areas with process and personnel improvements
  • Ensure sufficient quality reviews (e.g. inter-discipline and constructability) are built into the project team's execution plan
  • Obey and enforce safety rules and exercise caution in all work activities
  • Maintain positive client relations

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a Civil, Mechanical, Chemical or Electrical Engineering - accredited engineering program OR
  • Bachelor's degree in a Building Construction or Construction Management - accredited construction education program
  • 10+ years in the industrial engineering or industrial construction field
  • Ability to organize and manage groups of people in teams effectively
  • Ability to work on multiple simultaneous project and client assignments
  • Excellent people and communication skills (oral and written) required
