The main difference is that a Remote Independent Sales Contractor works independently on sales projects without ongoing employment, while a Remote Inside Sales Representative is usually employed by a company to perform sales tasks within a structured environment. Both roles focus on sales, but the contractor has more flexibility and independence compared to the more regulated inside sales position.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as a Remote Independent Sales Contractor, and why are they important?

To thrive as a Remote Independent Sales Contractor, you need strong sales acumen, self-motivation, and experience in business development, often backed by a proven sales track record. Familiarity with CRM platforms like Salesforce, online meeting tools, and digital marketing systems is typically required. Outstanding communication, resilience, and time management are crucial soft skills for engaging prospects and managing deals independently. These skills are vital for achieving sales targets, building client relationships, and succeeding without direct supervision in a remote environment.

What is a Remote Independent Sales Contractor?

A Remote Independent Sales Contractor is a self-employed professional who works from a location of their choice, rather than a traditional office, to sell products or services on behalf of a company. Unlike employees, they are not on the company's payroll and are responsible for managing their own taxes and benefits. They typically earn income through commissions or fees based on their sales performance. This role offers flexibility and autonomy, but also requires strong self-motivation and organizational skills.

Job description

Sales Representative Weโ€™re looking for remote part time or full time independent sales representatives to market a highly unique identity theft protection service to consumers, business owners, and as a voluntary benefit to employee groups. There is virtually no competition in our target markets yet we only have a small percentage of the market so far and we are looking for more qualified reps. Commission only with advanced commissions at each sales reps request. We also pay performance bonuses and most importantly, ongoing and repeat residuals for the life of each customer. Commissions and bonuses are paid daily. Lots of our part time and full time reps are doing very well with us and this opportunity is truly unlimited for the right person. A strong sales background is desired for full time but not required for part time as we have several successful part time reps who had no sales experience. What we offer our sales team:
  • Remote work with virtual selling across the US
  • No territories and no sales quotas
  • Robust initial training program
  • On-going training by top producers
  • Performance bonuses and trip incentives
Get back to us and a member of our executive team will reach out to schedule an initial Zoom or phone call interview to learn more about you and discuss details on this rare opportunity. www.superiorlifesolutions.com
