PeerLink Medical is a URAC-accredited Independent Review Organization (IRO) and health-tech innovator delivering independent peer reviews, utilization reviews, and expert medical opinions across the U.S. With over 1 million reviews completed, our proprietary technology platform empowers healthcare decisions with accuracy, consistency, and clinical integrity. We are currently expanding our panel and seeking board-certified physicians in Orthopedic Surgery who are interested in remote, flexible, part-time work as independent contractors. You'll play a vital role in shaping fair and evidence-based healthcare determinations.

What You Will Do
  • Conduct independent, evidence-based medical reviews and utilization reviews.
  • Review patient records and related documentation in alignment with clinical guidelines.
  • Provide objective, high-quality reports within turnaround timelines.
  • Maintain compliance with URAC, HIPAA, and internal quality standards.
Who We Are Looking For
  • Active board certification in Orthopedic Surgery.
  • Specialty in Spine Surgery is preferred.
  • NY WCB Authorization is preferred.
  • Current, unrestricted U.S. state medical license.
  • Engaged in clinical practice 20 hours/week or more.
  • Experience in peer review, utilization review, or independent medical examination is preferred but not required.
  • Strong written communication skills and ability to document findings clearly.
  • Comfortable working independently and using online review platforms.
