Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of the mental health needs of senior clients, identifying areas of concern and developing personalized intervention strategies.
• Utilize evidence-based practices to deliver individual counseling and therapeutic sessions tailored to the unique challenges faced by adult and senior individuals.
• Establish connections for clients with valuable community resources, support networks, and aftercare programs to aid their recovery journeys.
• Maintain meticulous documentation of patient progress and treatment effectiveness, adhering to best practices and regulatory requirements.
• Participate in regular team meetings for case reviews and treatment planning, collaborating effectively with other mental health professionals.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The primary focus of this position is on adult and senior clients who are undergoing detoxification and recovery from substance use disorders. You will work closely with individuals dealing with various co-occurring mental health conditions, emphasizing the importance of holistic treatment approaches that address both mental and physical health.

Qualifications

• A Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited institution is required.
• A current and valid Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) license in California is mandatory.
• A strong understanding of addiction treatment modalities and mental health interventions is essential to succeed in this role.

Preferred Experience

• Ideally, candidates will possess at least two years of direct experience working with clients in mental health or substance abuse settings, although we value dedication and passion for the field above all.
• Experience working in a fast-paced or remote environment will be a plus, highlighting the ability to adapt to changing situations effectively.

Compensation and Benefits

The compensation for this role ranges from $110,000 to $130,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
