These skills and qualities are vital for attracting, nurturing, and converting leads in a digital-first environment.

Additionally, setting clear goals, maintaining detailed documentation, and participating in ongoing training can help remote marketers stay connected and effective within distributed teams.

What is remote inbound marketing?

Remote inbound marketing refers to the process of attracting, engaging, and delighting customers online from a remote location, rather than in a traditional office setting. Inbound marketing focuses on creating valuable content, optimizing websites for search engines, leveraging social media, and using email marketing to draw potential customers to a business. Remote inbound marketers use digital tools and platforms to collaborate with teams, track performance, and execute campaigns from anywhere. This approach allows for flexibility and access to a wider talent pool while still achieving business goals.

Job description

GRF CPAs & Advisors is a Sage Intacct Value-Added Reseller and consulting practice dedicated to helping growing organizations modernize their financial operations with best-in-class cloud ERP solutions. We serve nonprofit organizations and pride ourselves on a high-touch, consultative approach to every engagement.

We are seeking a seasoned Sage Intacct Sales Executive to own and grow our new business pipeline from first contact through signed contract without reliance on a dedicated pre-sales or solution engineer resource. This is a rare opportunity for a true subject matter expert who combines proven sales performance with the product depth to independently deliver compelling, customized Sage Intacct demonstrations. Working in close partnership with our marketing team, you will convert marketing-generated opportunities into closed business while contributing to the overall growth strategy of our consulting practice.

Location: Remote

Salary range: $85,000 - $105,000 + commission

Essential Functions & Responsibilities:

Pipeline Development & Lead Nurturing

  • Serve as the primary sales resource for all marketing-generated leads, inbound inquiries, and partner-referred opportunities owning each opportunity from first engagement through close.
  • Collaborate closely with the marketing team on campaign strategy, messaging, webinars, user groups, and events to ensure a strong and consistent flow of qualified opportunities.
  • Nurture leads across varying stages of readiness, maintaining consistent follow-up and engagement to advance opportunities through the sales cycle.
  • Maintain disciplined pipeline hygiene and accurate forecasting in CRM; provide regular reporting to leadership on pipeline health and deal progression.
  • Contribute feedback to marketing on lead quality, market messaging, and competitive intelligence to continuously improve top-of-funnel effectiveness.

Discovery & Solution Selling

  • Conduct thorough discovery sessions to understand prospect pain points, financial operations, requirements, and strategic objectives.
  • Engage mid-market prospects by mapping their current-state operations to Sage Intacct's capabilities including multi-entity support, dimensional reporting, and industry-specific modules and develop customized messaging to accelerate decision-making.
  • Function as a subject matter expert (SME) on Sage Intacct's core financials and relevant modules, drawing from hands-on platform experience.
  • Build strong relationships with C-level executives, Controllers, and finance teams throughout the evaluation process.

Independent Product Demonstrations

  • Lead interactive, discovery-driven Sage Intacct demonstrations independently and without pre-sales support tailored to each prospect's industry, pain points, and key stakeholders.
  • Own the full demo narrative from post-discovery preparation through live presentation and follow-up, ensuring each demonstration directly connects platform capabilities to the prospect's business challenges.
  • Stay current on quarterly Sage Intacct product releases to ensure demonstrations reflect the latest platform capabilities and differentiators.

Proposals, Negotiation & Closing

  • Develop and present full implementation proposals including Statements of Work (SOWs), ROI analyses, and pricing strategies.
  • Manage the full sales cycle from qualification through contract execution, engaging multiple stakeholders and navigating complex buying processes.
  • Coordinate a smooth handoff of new clients to the delivery and implementation team, ensuring expectations set during the sales process are honored.
  • Meet or exceed quarterly and annual revenue targets.

Practice & Market Development

  • Represent the firm at industry events, Sage partner programs, webinars, and user groups to build market presence and expand referral relationships.
  • Suggest ongoing improvements to sales processes, tools, proposal content, and demo environments to improve win rates and shorten sales cycles.
  • Contribute to practice growth initiatives including hiring input and onboarding of future sales resources as the team scales.

Requirements

  • 5+ years in ERP/SaaS sales, consulting, or practice leadership, with direct Sage Intacct experience in sales, implementation, or a combined role.
  • Demonstrated ability to independently deliver polished, discovery-driven Sage Intacct product demonstrations without pre-sales support; this is a non-negotiable requirement.
  • Proven success engaging mid-market prospects (50-500 employees) and closing complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles.
  • Strong consultative sales skills: able to diagnose business problems and credibly articulate how Sage Intacct solves them across finance, operations, and executive audiences.
  • Proficiency with CRM platforms (HubSpot, Salesforce, or similar); disciplined pipeline management habits.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills; comfortable presenting to CFOs, Controllers, and C-suite decision-makers.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or related field preferred.
  • Ability to travel up to 20% for client meetings, demos, or industry events.

Required Qualifications:

  • Sage Intacct certifications: Sales Consultant and/or nonprofit industry-specific certifications is a strong plus.
  • Hands-on Sage Intacct implementation or consulting background - understanding the delivery side dramatically strengthens credibility in the sales process.
  • Familiarity with vertical-specific Sage Intacct capabilities relevant to nonprofit accounting.
