Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough assessments to understand clients' mental health needs and establish appropriate treatment plans.

  • Set therapeutic goals in collaboration with clients and regularly monitor their progress towards achieving these objectives.
  • Provide teletherapy options for clients facing accessibility challenges or preferences for remote sessions.
  • Maintain meticulous and accurate documentation of client interactions, treatment plans, and progress in compliance with ethical standards.
  • Engage in ongoing professional development and training to stay current with the latest therapeutic techniques and mental health practices.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Your role will involve working with a diverse clientele, including individuals facing a variety of mental health challenges such as anxiety disorders, depression, relationship issues, and trauma. Tailoring your approach to meet the unique needs of each client will be integral to fostering a positive therapeutic relationship and achieving successful outcomes.

Qualifications
  • Possession of a current and valid state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor/Mental Health Service Provider (LPC/MHSP), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).
  • A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, Psychology, or a related field.
  • Demonstrated excellent communication and interpersonal skills, providing an empathetic and non-judgmental space for clients.
  • Strong organizational abilities and effective time-management skills necessary for handling multiple clients efficiently.
Preferred Experience
  • Previous experience in conducting teletherapy sessions or utilizing digital health technologies.
  • Familiarity with evidence-based therapy modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), or similar approaches.
  • Experience working within an outpatient mental health facility or private practice environment.
Compensation and Benefits

Garden Grove Mental and Behavioral Center offers a competitive salary range of $90,000 to $100,000 annually, based on your caseload and qualifications. In addition to base compensation, our organization provides:
