Thrive Space Counseling Services is actively seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Mental Health Counselor to join our team in a full-time remote capacity. Key Responsibilities

  • Remain current with relevant research, best practices, and approaches that improve therapeutic methods in mental health care.
Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily work with clients from diverse cultural backgrounds, including ethnic minorities, LGBTQ+ communities, and immigrants, ensuring that your therapeutic approaches are inclusive, respectful, and tailored to individual experiences.

Qualifications
  • A Masterโ€™s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.
  • A current and valid license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Oregon.
  • A strong understanding of mental health disorders along with evidence-based treatment methodologies and cultural competency in therapy.
  • Proven experience providing individual and group therapy using methodologies that are culturally responsive and inclusive.
