Sales Representative – American Patrols, Inc.

At American Patrols, patrolling pipeline and production assets is at the heart of what we do.  Our Production Patrol and Pipeline Patrol services help customers protect the environment, preserve revenue, minimize cleanup costs, and implement cost-efficient operating models in the field.  

We are growing rapidly, and are seeking to add a motivated, experienced Sales Representative to the Team to enable us to continue this pace of growth.  We operate in a fast-paced environment where trust is key, and high-performance is expected and rewarded. 

Every day, American Patrols identifies environmental issues for companies that are not currently customers – an operator has a problem that they don’t even know about, and American Patrols is the solution.  There is no sales role with more powerful lead generation than this one!  

Sales Representative Job Responsibilities:

  • Serves customers by selling Pipeline Patrol and Production Patrol services in Texas, New Mexico and Oklahoma.

  • Establishes new accounts by planning and organizing daily work schedule to call on existing or potential sales leads.

  • Comfortable in a remote field office, or a high-rise conference room.  

  • Learn from your Teammates in our Headquarters while you’re getting up to speed.  Work from home once you are an expert in selling our services, and are ahead of your sales quota.

  • Tailors content of sales presentations to the unique characteristics of the Customer.

  • Serves as the internal Customer Advocate, always presenting and arguing for Customers’ best interests.  

  • Gains expertise in the operational and financial impacts of Customer requests, ensuring that American Patrols fulfils its promises to a high degree of Customer satisfaction.  

  • Services existing accounts, and resolves Customer complaints by investigating problems, developing solutions, preparing reports, and making recommendations to management.

  • Keeps management informed by logging activity in appropriate systems including CRM, and participating in cross-functional company meetings.

  • Monitors competition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing, competitor relationships, and contract renewal dates. 

  • Recommends changes in products, service, and policy by evaluating results and competitive developments.

  • Completes other assigned tasks and duties as directed.

  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

Compensation and Benefits:

Sales Representative Qualifications/Skills:

  • 5 years sales experience; at least 2 years of outside sales experience
