You serve as a primary point of contact during implementation, working closely with customers to understand their permitting, inspection, code enforcement, and citizen engagement processes and configure the software to support their needs.You are responsible for configuring and training customers on both the Connect console application and the online Citizen Portal-covering contractors, properties, permit types, permit processing and issuance, inspections, code violations, enforcement actions, fines, and related community development workflows. This role requires a blend of software implementation expertise, customer training skills, and an understanding of municipal community development operations.WHAT YOU'LL DOImplementation & ConfigurationLead customers through the implementation, configuration, testing, training, and go-live of Caselle Community Development software according to project timelinesWork with customers to understand existing community development processes and translate business requirements into effective system configurationsConfigure Community Development setup including contractors, properties, permit types, requirements, statuses, fees, inspections, and related system settingsConfigure permit processes from application through issuance-including required information, fees, approvals, inspections, and permit completionInspections & Code EnforcementConfigure and train customers on permit inspection processes including inspection types, scheduling, inspector assignments, results, follow-ups, and completion requirementsConfigure and train customers on code enforcement processes including violations, cases, responsible parties, inspections, notices, compliance activities, fines, and case resolutionAssist customers in establishing workflows for tracking violations, inspection results, compliance deadlines, re-inspections, and penaltiesCitizen Portal & TrainingConfigure and train customers on the Connect online Citizen Portal, enabling citizens and contractors to submit information, interact with permit processes, and access community development servicesTrain customer administrators and end users on both the Connect console application and Citizen Portal functionalityGuide customers through testing configured workflows and validate that system setup meets agreed-upon requirements prior to go-liveCollaboration & DocumentationCollaborate with System/Technical Consultants, Product Owners, Support, and Implementation team members to ensure accurate setup, integrations, data conversion, and overall implementation successDevelop, update, and maintain training materials, implementation documentation, configuration records, and customer-facing guidesDocument customer configuration decisions, training sessions, outstanding items, project progress, and implementation milestonesProvide post-implementation assistance during the customer's transition period; ensure a seamless handoff to the long-term Support teamCollect customer feedback on software functionality, usability, and training effectiveness and communicate to appropriate internal teamsWHAT WE'RE LOOKING FORRequired1–3 years of experience in software implementation, consulting, onboarding, or customer trainingAbility to learn complex software functionality quickly and explain system processes clearly to both technical and non-technical usersStrong communication and presentation skills; comfortable training small and mid-size client audiencesAbility to analyze customer business processes and translate them into software configurations and workflowsDetail-oriented with strong organizational skills; able to manage multiple customer implementation projects simultaneouslyStrong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify configuration, workflow, and data-related issuesComfortable working with both desktop/console software and customer-facing online applications and portalsBachelor's degree in Business, Public Administration, Information Systems, Communications, or related field (or 3+ years equivalent experience)PreferredKnowledge of municipal community development processes including permitting, inspections, code enforcement, and related workflowsUnderstanding of permit lifecycles-application, review, fee assessment, issuance, inspections, completion, and closureExperience with local government, building permits, planning and zoning, contractor licensing, or similar municipal processesExperience creating clear, user-friendly documentation and training materialsWHAT WE OFFERMission-Driven Work: Help local governments deliver better services to their communitiesFlexibility: Remote-eligible role with a collaborative team based in Provo, UTGrowth: Join a company investing in its next generation of products and expanding its market presenceComprehensive Benefits: Competitive compensation, health/dental/vision insurance, 401(k), PTO, and professional development supportWork-Life Balance: Standard Monday–Friday schedule with on-site client travel as neededWORK ENVIRONMENTPrimarily office-based or remote role with regular client travel (25–40% annually), typically consisting of week-long on-site engagements.
