Help Members Navigate Important Coverage Changes

We are seeking compassionate and customer-focused Customer Service Representatives to support a health insurance organization during an important service area transition. In this role, you will assist current members who have questions about changes to their health insurance coverage and plan availability.

This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with call center experience who enjoy helping people, solving problems, and providing exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment.

Position Overview

As a Customer Service Representative, you will serve as the first point of contact for health plan members impacted by service area changes. You will answer questions regarding coverage, explain available options, address concerns, and provide support to ensure a positive member experience during the transition.

While the initial focus will be on coverage-related inquiries, additional training and responsibilities may be introduced over time.

Key Responsibilities
  • Answer inbound calls from health insurance members regarding coverage changes and plan availability.
  • Explain benefit and coverage information clearly and professionally.
  • Research member questions and provide accurate information and resolutions.
  • Document customer interactions accurately within company systems.
  • Escalate complex issues to appropriate departments when necessary.
  • Maintain service quality standards while managing a high volume of calls.
  • Demonstrate empathy and professionalism when assisting members through coverage transitions.
  • Meet productivity, attendance, and quality expectations.
  • Participate in ongoing training and development opportunities as business needs evolve.
Qualifications
  • Previous call center or contact center experience.
  • Strong customer service and communication skills.
  • Ability to navigate multiple systems while speaking with customers.
  • Strong problem-solving and active listening abilities.
  • Excellent attention to detail and documentation skills.

  • Reliable internet connection and dedicated workspace.
Training
  • Two-week paid training program
  • Training Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
Work Schedule

Following training, employees will be assigned to one of the following schedules:

  • Shift ending at 4:00 PM
  • Shift ending at 4:30 PM
  • Shift ending at 5:00 PM

Start times will vary based on assigned lunch periods.

Work Environment
  • Remote work from home opportunity
  • Candidates must reside in Minnesota
  • Equipment pickup required on the first day at the Bloomington office
  • Employees must be able to report to the Bloomington office if internet or connectivity issues prevent remote work
  • Quiet, professional home workspace required
Contract Details
  • Initial 3-month contract assignment
  • Opportunity for extension based on business needs and workload
  • Historically, assignments have often been extended beyond the initial contract period

Pay and Benefits
