What is a remote image review clerk?

A Remote Image Review Clerk is a professional responsible for examining and verifying digital images, such as scanned documents, photographs, or x-rays, to ensure accuracy, quality, and compliance with company standards. They typically work from home or another remote location, using specialized software to review, categorize, and sometimes annotate images. Their tasks may include identifying errors, flagging unclear images, and entering relevant data into databases. This role is important in industries like healthcare, insurance, and e-commerce, where accurate image processing is critical.
