Job Summary:
 
this is a position for people with 0-2 years of work experience 
 
We are looking for a QA Technician with experience in geospatial analysis to support our team for a 3-month full-time contract, with the possibility of extension. This role involves analyzing over-ocean optical, SAR, and possibly hyperspectral imagery to ensure high-quality data for our AI/ML models. The job requires strong attention to detail and involves repetitive tasks to maintain accuracy. Your work will directly impact our model performance and product quality.
Responsibilities
  • Review and analyze remote sensing imagery for quality assurance.
  • Identify and correct errors or inconsistencies in imagery data.
  • Work with AI/ML teams to ensure data quality meets model requirements.
  • Follow standard procedures for image processing and validation.
  • Document findings and communicate any issues clearly.
Qualifications
  • STEM degree (e.g., Remote Sensing, GIS, Physics, Engineering, Computer Science). (must have)
  • Experience with AI/ML data annotation or image labeling. (nice-to-have)
  • Familiarity with GIS tools (e.g., QGIS, ArcGIS) or remote sensing software. (nice-to-have)
