As a Remote Licensed Professional Counselor, you will work from the comfort of your home while being a vital part of our community-focused health clinic. • Maintain a caseload of clients, establishing rapport and fostering positive therapeutic relationships through regular check-ins and assessments.
• Conduct intake assessments to thoroughly understand each client’s background, presenting concerns, and treatment goals.
• Develop, implement, and monitor personalized treatment plans, ensuring all approaches are person-centered and adaptable to client feedback.
• Document all client interactions meticulously with up-to-date progress notes, maintaining compliance with legal and ethical standards.
• Facilitate regular client meetings to review progress, adjust treatment strategies as needed, provide guidance on stability, and discuss potential discharge when appropriate.

Your work as a Licensed Professional Counselor will directly impact a diverse patient population, encompassing children, adolescents, and adults struggling with various mental health issues. You will engage with clients from different backgrounds and life experiences, addressing concerns such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship challenges. Your role is crucial in helping these clients navigate their journeys toward better mental health and emotional resilience.

• A Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling or a related field is required.
• Must possess an active, unrestricted, independent Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) credential.
• A minimum of two years of post-graduate experience in a clinical outpatient setting is essential.
• Proficient in using technology, including Excel, RMS systems, Outlook, and PIMSY, to manage client information and documentation effectively.

• Experience in therapeutic modalities tailored to individuals, couples, and families is preferred.
• Familiarity with evidenced-based practices and approaches in mental health counseling.
• Previous work in a fee-for-service model is a plus, illustrating an understanding of the financial aspects of patient care.
